Hot climate & Sun

Being under strong scorching sun is one of major enemies to your skin. The sun’s ultraviolet light can cause major damage to the skin. The outer layer of the skin has cells that contain the pigment melanin. Melanin protects skin from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. These can burn the skin and reduce its elasticity, leading to premature aging.

Water Quality

When the water is treated from the water plant they use certain chemicals such as chorine to treat the water. Eventhough the water is treated, there are still residues remaining in the water we use daily. These harmful residues such as chlorine and sediment residues has negative effects to your skin.

Pollution

Many vehicles in Ghana are second hand used cars that is more than 10 years old that has been imported from outside the country. As Ghana develops with more factories and vehicles are on the road that is emitting polluted gas and air, it will have negative effects to the skin.
